We provide an integrated curriculum to enable students to relate their school experiences to their daily lives. Each student's learning style, needs and interests are met through individualized, small and large group instruction in heterogeneous settings.
Park Forest Elementary is truly a multicultural school. Our students come from China, Viet Nam, Central and South America, Mexico, Africa, the Middle East and, of course, the United States.
We believe it is the responsibility of Park Forest Elementary School to provide an educational program that enables the students of the community to grow physically, intellectually, morally, and emotionally in order to contribute to a multi-ethnic and democratic society. Our mission is to have all children reach their highest academic and social potentials.
